-         You must send me an email with your name, email address Site’s name and website address. Also if you want me to evaluate it and say what you can improve on, what you have done well etc.

 -         If you already have a website that has been reviewed by me, then you can ask for it to be reviewed again. I have added the platinum award. If you have added more information and more features and want to see if they have moved you up a place. I don't mind reviewing it again.

-         Any pieces of material that has been taken from other websites (without permission) will not be reviewed and will be reported to the original site which the material originally featured.

 

-         I understand that with a number of website hosts even if you pay the advertisements will still appear that why I’m allowing banners, boxes and the occasional pop up to be allowed.

 

-         Also I’m aware of AdSense, if used correctly at the side or at the very top of the page (somewhere where it doesn’t grab your attention away from the text) is fine and also if the site is big and you need to fund it, that is also acceptable. However sites which use AdSense to fund their private collection and has no benefit to the site apart from blocking the of the text is only looking at a silver maximum, if you use it sensibly there is no reason why you should be limited based on advertisements. If you need to have a look at some sites which has used it correctly I can recommend Stella’s Tomb Raider site. As well as having fantastic content she also manages her site really well and the advertisements doesn't distract the read from the text..

 

-         The site must also be up for a minimum of eight months. Sites that have only been up for a few weeks can not be counted, sorry.

 

-         Reviews can take from several hours to a few days. I’m normally by my computer checking my email every evening. People who email me for an award, I normally reply to saying that I will just to tell them that I’ve seen their email and will review it. If you haven’t heard back in three days please email me again, I might not have got your first email.

 

-         Also don’t believe that if you don’t get many visitors to your site, you don’t get platinum. The awards are not based on the number of visitors on your site. Any site that is good enough for gold gets gold. Any site good enough for platinum gets platinum.

 

1)      I will get your email that will contain all the details needed to review your site (name, email address, website name or website address and if you want me you an evaluation).

2)      I will then send you a reply saying that I have received your email and that I’ll be reviewing it.

3)      For the reviewing I will be looking at your site and testing all the pages.

4)      I will mark down out of five, the layout, the information, the use of photos and the overall enjoyment. I can’t tell you what you got, however the results will go into my evaluation. During this time I will also be marking down notes for the evaluation too.

5)      I will spend a few hours after the evaluation to think about the marks and come up with an award and the evaluation

6)      I will then send you both in an email.
